Two 212 series CMOS LSI encoders designed for remote control system applications. They are capable of encoding information which consists of 8-address bits and 4-data bits (HT12A), or 8-address bits and either 4 further address/data bits (HT12E). Each address/data input can be set to one of the two logic states. The programmed addresses/data are transmitted together with the header bits via an RF or an infrared transmission medium upon receipt of a trigger signal.

The Colourdriver RF is a three channel full colour RGB LED driver system, combining an intelligent power driver with a handy, simple to use RF remote control. The driver is available as a master unit or as a slave unit and each unit can drive up to 18 LEDs. Additionally, each master unit can also drive up to 100 slave units, thus making it possible to create large, dynamic full colour change lighting systems that are easily installed and are controlled with a single remote control unit. With the use of solid state lighting becoming increasingly popular in retail and architectural lighting applications, the Colourdriver RF system will prove to be a key element in any advanced lighting design both in new designs and as a retrofit alternative to existing expensive and complicated control systems.
